In the traditional method, inside the computer box they used a lot of fans to make sure that the heat is maintained and kept low. Each component within the computer including the boards, circuits, cards and loops were incorporated with a fan to make it cool down which occupied majority of the space within the machine. if you had seen an old machine being opened into its core, the internal layout was quite in a clutter and looked a lot messier than these newer machines. There were fans around circuits and cards while they were quite packed into one set but when the liquid form is used, it created more space inside the machine and because of this, companies were able to come up with thinner or slimmer machine which were easy to carry around.
The traditional form of cooling technique caused in higher sound due to the operation of fans internally but with the water method, the noise is much lesser and although there are water based systems that use a motor and a small fan, still it won’t lead up to the same noise like in the traditional way. therefore, we could conclude that the modern way is definitely a good alternative compared to classical hat control method.
